Triple Scoop

Triple Scoop, originally uploaded by ǝıɥɔıɹ ƃuıʌɐɹ.

This figure and ones just like her appear in a few of Melbourne's Laneways and Alleys. I think this one is the oldest surviving example. The airbrushesque technique used on a figure like this is quite unique and is just as effective a caling card as the ubiquitous 'Deb' branding.
Thanks Deb.

I walked by this spot yesterday while meeting up with a friend for coffee and to my dismay discovered that this fine piece had been half tagged over. Not replaced with another piece if art, rather just plain scribbled over.

Taggers give true graf artists such a bad rep.
Death for tagging I say.

Oh dear, that's terrible.
It's nice that you have this photo then, to preserve the memory of the original artwork.

True, but such is the temporal nature of Graffiti.
I just would have liked it to have been replaced by something slightly more tasteful that a mess of tags.

Ah, Union Lane... I remember when i went on a photo-taking spree there last year - and i remember that lady on the picture!

There is another one of her hidden in a Brunswick Street doorway.
Can you find her?
