Fight
7:15:00 pmI found this in a little store off Flinders Lane in Melbourne.
Look for the lomo cameras in the shop window.
Flicked

Paint Me
12:30:00 amA Lonsdale Street restaurant wall begs to be revamped with mural goodness.
I used a long exposure to capture the stroke of the paintbrush. Not sure if it was entirely successful I but had fun shooting it.

Drifting Life
1:11:00 pmThe storms that brought the rain also dealt much destruction to many old trees. This one refused to be defeated.

We have water!
4:02:00 pmSouthern Australia got some decent rain over the summer and boy was it much needed. Here is one of the more beautiful reasons why we need water so badly here. I had heard that many waterfalls had simply seised to be over the past couple years yet the falls were flowing all over Cape Ottawa during a recent getaway with my new housemates.
As an aside, my car had been badly damaged in the same storms that brought life back to the falls. Nature has its ways of sending a message.
Starlit people
12:13:00 pmTwo people cross paths in Maroobra, Sydney. The contents of their conversation remain consealed in a foreign language but their emotion is clear as, day.
Beer Vision
3:56:00 pmLocation: A Friday night bar somewhere in Melbourne's CBD.
Flash + Longish exposure + Beer = Weird Photos.
Agreed?

Smoke on the Water?
11:38:00 amT.J. took a photo of a similar cloud formation over a Russian city scape a while back.
Does anyone know what its called?
Ferris Tram
2:20:00 pmI decided to ride my bicycle into the city centre to try out a new GPS tracking App on my iphone. The App turned out to be pretty lame but my camera didn't let me down. For all its foibles it still does almost everything I want it to do nearly 4 years on.

Pheidole Pegasus
1:18:00 pmPegasus prances purposefully past pleased patrons, proclaiming peace and power.
Pegasus is my second most favourite character in Greek mythology, second only to Perseus. Both characters are due to feature in the remake of the film Clash of the Titans which is scheduled for release in the coming months. Call me a cynic but after seeing it's trailer, looks to be another Hollywood botch-up of what is otherwise a great tale.
National Museum of New South Wales, Sydney.
Three Women
12:57:00 pmI wish I could remember where this was taken. Somewhere in Melbourne yes, but the name of the street completely escapes me. Perhaps it's one of those poor nameless alleyways, in which case the seasonal street art probably serves both aesthetic and navigational purposes.
What I do remember is that this was a jolly fun day where a friend and I wandered through the CBD for hours with cameras frequently glued to our faces.
Good times.
Time out

Setting
6:10:00 pmI tell you this Toy Camera iphone App is stupendous entry into Lomography.
So much so I am seriously considering buying a DSLR and a F+ adaptor just so I can peer through some of the original plastic that really birthed Lomo.
It it wrong to buy a $4000 camera, namely the Nikon D700, with the primary intention of using $50 lenses on it?
