Beer Vision

Flash + Longish exposure + Beer = Weird Photos.

Solitude
2:45:00 pmA man sits in solitude, observing the buzz of conversation around him as he eagerly awaits his friend's return and the resumption of the same.

Climb
4:05:00 pmOne of my students from mid 2006 during my time in Daegu, Korea.
Classes in the playground were always a big hit with the youngsters.
This photo feels like a metaphor for education from a young student's perspective.
Love that sticks
10:55:00 pmI want a windmill too

The road was nice and warm, much like in a luxury car.
On a more contemplative note, this photo somewhat explains my life. You see Esther, the subject in the photo, is looking back down the road. Looking at what we have already passed where this is nice scenery with cows and rolling hills. No doubt there are more rolling hills and cows over the crest in the background of this shot but that isn't where her attention is.
This is like me is a way.
I'm always looking back at what has been and I see a pretty busy picture. However in doing so I feel like I am missing out on the view of what lies ahead.
Sure it might me more cows and rolling hills, but it might be different. As in this photo there might be a festival with swimming pools of lemonade, amazing acrobatic feats and wicked good food stalls just ahead.
But I wouldn't know until I had already passed it because while I am travelling forwards I’m facing the wrong way. I’m looking backwards.
Like driving with you eyes fixed to sternly in the rear view mirror that you don't see the fluorescent horse ahead of you until it too is in the rear view.
Time to look ahead.
(Brightly painted horses are in the streets of Glenferrie every spring racing season. I knew they would make a handy metaphor one day)
Why not?
2:18:00 am Its my birthday today so you'll just have to excuse my self indulgent jumping post.

Beachside exorcism anyone?
2:59:00 pmTomo decided to one-up us on the feet touching exercise, an exercise I sucked at badly.
Fighting!
12:40:00 pm It stated out as a game of basketball and ended up somewhere in the land of Street Fighter and Tekken. Can you see who is Dalsim?

Bubbles are all I need
3:41:00 pmA memorable morning filled with bubbles and laughter. Oh to be five again.
Catching Butterflies
3:06:00 pmAnother exercise in leaping, this time in Ansan's massive park. Several elderly locals had a break from their normally peacefull walk through the park to watch the foolish, and very sweaty, forigner leaping around like a man possessed. Why oh why did I choose to do this one a 35 degree day?

In Sydney again. I had quite a crowd gathering as I took this one. I think they were eager to see me fall into the harbor.
