Wedding Dancers

Wedding Dancers, originally uploaded by Sporking Roark.

This dance was performed at a traditional wedding that was held in the streets of Insadong. I was lucky enough to play a small part in the wedding's proceedings and received a rice cake treat for my troubles. Yum.

Twilight Footprints

11:37:00 am

Twilight Footprints, originally uploaded by Sporking Roark.

Location: Torquay, Victoria, Australia

On a pleasant stroll that spanned a couple of Torquay's front beaches. This was my first real holiday after coming back from Daegu, Korea. Sure I went to The Philippines but this trip was the first time in years that I actually reached a state of total relaxation.

Well it's time to share some of my photographs in a more effective way than on facebook and Biff suggested that I make a photoblog. The photos will be hosted from Flickr so as to make viewing larger sizes, and general geeking-out, easier. I don't mind people ripping off my photos provided that there a link back to this blog or my flickr page.

Feedback & Comments are encouraged. I don't claim to be the most experienced photo blogger out there, so any tips would help.

Enjoy,
Roark.

Roark starts sharing his Sporks

10:59:00 am
Hi this is Roark and welcome to Roark's Sporks where I share my photographs and, hopefully, you will be able to do the same.

Living in a different country gave me a great opportunity to learn how to use my then-newly purchased camera as I captured everything in my world from the mundane to the exceptionally spectacular. These moments gradually filled up my computer, and continue to do so, but just sat there occupying data storage space and precious little more. Well, our mothers always taught us to share, and we all love our mothers, so I'm sharing now and hope you do too. Be it sharing a comment or opinion, or adding photographs please feel free as that is what this is all about.

Oh any by the way, its' pronounced 'Raw-k.' or 로크. Other ways to write Roark will be added for posterity.
I'm not entirely sure shat a spork is and how to define it.

Lets Share,
Roark
