View from St Mary's

View from St Mary's, originally uploaded by sodiumswirls.

One of the windows in the church tower. The building in the foreground is Brasenose College and the spire in the background is Exeter College Chapel.
In case you're wondering, yes, it was unusually bright and clear the day I took this. Today, it's the typical grey and rainy English weather. Humph.

For some reason my eyes are drawn to the room that frames the view rather thand the view itself. Why is the window all busted up and in need of supporting beams.
Eerie.
Wasn't St. Mary's the site of a government sponsored terror attack in the film V for Vendetta?
Extra Eerie.
Imagine if it was a dreary English day.
Mega Extra Eerie.

Ha, I bet you weren't even going for the dark look now were you. Probably just my twisted mind.

what are those boxy vans on the streets doing there? are those pizza deliveries to the chapel?
