Oh nice. This reminds me, I have similar photos of square stone thingies on Korean mountain tops. I'm not too sure of their significance but they are pretty cute all the same.
Do you know the meaning behind this square stone thingy?
I'm not sure about Korea, but in Japan, some of these are distance markers. Oh a mountain, there's also a possibility of them being mini-shrines or graves, depending... But I think this one just marks some electric cables running underground. There are similar metal markers on roads that show where underground pipes and cables run.
