The end of an era.
No doubt it will be replaced with another faceless gray concrete colossus.
A bit sad really.
It looks as if you are peering through the fence, trying to catch a cheeky glimpse of your quirky neighbors.

I just thought it might be cool to add a Google Maps Street view to this post. So we can see the fate of Kampong Buangkok unfold.

A milkshake?! Well, I think I'll let my photos speak for themselves instead... So yea, look forward to more photos!
Oh, I've added a map, but unfortunately there's no street view for this place. Still, we'll be able to track the changes via the aerial snapshot.

I just realized there is a great Aussie movie from the late 90'2 about this very issue of repossession or, in the films case, Statutory Acquisition.
