Living in the coutry is...
6:29:00 pmI was picking my brother up from a friend's house one Sunday afternoon after he spent the previous night partying and, on the drive back to our parent's place, was rewarded with the most spectacular rainbow I have ever seen. Not only was it a complete and unbroken rainbow, stretching from the horizon into the heavens and back to the horizon again, but it was a double rainbow too.
I quickly darted my car down a laneway in an effort to find a vantage point that wasn't interrupted by trees yet wasn't quick enough to capture its full glory. Still, it really made my day.
It's pretty hard to be in anything but a good mood when you see a rainbow, let alone a double one.
People in the coutryside do have it good.

This is one of the reasons I love Melbourne. That which serves a utilitarian purpose can have a splash of fun. Be it a structural marvel like the wave roof of Southern Cross Station or a cute pattern on a tiled doorway, such is Melbourne.
Oh, and I like my cats to be inanimate so... bonus!

This one is probably a little too mysterious to be viewed in anything but full size.
